Mommy gets a chance to blog

I am glad to be able to blog (although Drew did a great job and has a lot more patience with pictures and video than me) not so much the blogging part as much as I am finally free! I was finally released from the hospital around noon and made it to Shreveport to finally see my babies around 2. I had only seen Olivia for about 30 seconds and Elizabeth for about a minute so it was in fact the best medicine to see them for the first time. As soon as I walked in I was able to change Olivia's diaper and touch her for the first time. She is doing really well and I might get to hold her tomorrow. I was then able to hold Elizabeth and feed her a bottle and from 2 until 6:30 she was never put down except for a diaper change! Everyone has now been able to hold Elizabeth (thank you Don for holding out until I was able to hold her, I know it was hard). Even Grayson was able to touch Elizabeth and kiss her arm. He went in twice today for a few minutes and saw both babies. They both looked up at him when he said something and now realize he is the one who has been putting his knee and elbow in their space for 9 months.

Thank you for all your visits, comments, offers to help with Grayson and especially your prayers! Keep the prayers coming especially for their little lungs. Some specific things are Elizabeth has a slight heart murmur that they say is very normal and will go away on it's own most likely, but it is still a little scary to hear. They also have appointments this week with the eye doctor and an appointment to check their hearing. Please pray that those go well and that we only improve from here. Also just for our travel back and forth. I am only going to be able to go a few times this week and only for a limited time due to some major swelling and healing that I have to do. Thanks again for all the prayers, I know that they have already worked!

Drew will post some awesome pictures and video that he took of Grayson with the girls today.
