Day 1 of potty training

Day 1 of potty training is over and I am amazed at how well he did today. The first couple of hours we had to change 4 pairs of underwear, but to be fare they were barely wet! He would just go a little and then run to the potty or out on the back porch. He stayed dry while out to lunch and during his 2 and a half hour nap. (granted I jumped up and made him go potty as soon as he started to stir). We stayed in the same underwear from 10a.m. until bedtime! We did poop once, but it was outside on the porch so Drew and I are not sure to call that a win or not, but we chose a good thing considering it was not in his pants! So Day 1 was a definite success, hopefully each day will just get better!
