Challenging week, but many Rewards!

This week has felt like it is never going to be over with. Our children are still not back on schedule (this is enough to make any day difficult), they all 3 seem to not want to take naps in their beds. They are all getting up before 7 (my kids have always slept until 8 or 8:30. Plus we all have allergies that are acting up. But with each difficult day (by the way I have to ask my self in the middle of our activity was it really worth leaving the house??) I still would not trade staying home and loving them through! It is worth it and I am just like every other mom that just wants their kids to not miss out on new fun experiences and pray for lots and lots of patience (although the last time I did this I ended up with twins).

Tuesday night as I was waiting for Jaymie to pick me up at my parents house to go meet and encourage the Bristos, Grayson fell flat on his face on the cement. He immediately had a knot bigger than a ping pong ball and of course was screaming. My parents luckily were near to help me with him and decide what to do. We called the after hours nurse and she told us what to watch for and told us to just let him play or whatever he would usually do. So after much discussion we went to Drew's softball game and he acted fine. The knot went way down by that night and now you can only see a bruise! Enough with the bad here is lots of good!

I finally found a toy that will keep the girls on their stomachs and happy for more than 2 minutes.
I really need a bigger bath tub. Maybe that's what I could invent a double baby tub
Elizabeth does not eat much big girl food, she would rather rub it all over her face and head
Olivia all nice and clean, wants to make sure she does not waste a bite.

Now for the most fun night! When we started potty Training in June we told him if he did a good job (by the way he has done awesome with not many accidents) that we would go see Wiggles in Shreveport. Wiggles is about the only show Grayson likes to watch, he will watch some of other shows, but just does not enjoy them. I love Wiggles because for one the songs don't annoy me, but most importantly he is always up singing and dancing with them! Well we have been counting down the days and finally Wed was here!

Doesn't he look like the happiest little boy in the world
The trip home with all his Wiggles loot, yes we are suckers, but he did just have a head injury the night before, so there was some guilt there. (Not by him, just my own for not keeping him from falling)

Waiting for Wiggles to come out
The look on his face when he saw this was priceless. Well worth the money and time.
This is how he spent the night, just watching and taking it all in

He has talked about seeing the Wiggles everyday, all day ever since! Thanks to Grammy and Poppy who kept the girls and gave Grayson some spending money for the concert.

This is a picture of another toy that helps the girls stay on their tummies a lot longer! Plus it is fun to watch them try to eat it.

Man...those challenging weeks can only make you stronger, right?! I have had my fair share of those. Sorry it was rough, but glad you had fun times as well!! I can't even imagine Grayson at the Wiggles. I know he loved it! Cute pics!
